2016 Volvo XC60

Family vehicles are often considered as boring and bland.
However, Volvo is doing an excellent job trying to shake this
reputation with its XC60. For the 2016 model year, the
automaker has hooked up the small crossover SUV with a sleek
profile and an elegant cabin.

The model which is in its seventh year continues to offer
buyers a safe, spacious and practical alternative haul their

S60 sedan and the V60 wagon. The three vehicles form Volvo’s

2016 Volvo XC60 Exterior

The 2016 Volvo XC60 is based on the Y20 platform that underpins
the Land Rover Freelander. The vehicle also features numerous
cues borrowed from its British cousin. However, most of the new
changes are subtle visual upgrades since it underwent a more
comprehensive refresh in 2013. The XC60 trim levels correspond
to engine options; they are T5 Drive-E, T5AWD, T6 Drive-E and
T6 AWD R-Design. There is also a T5 Platinum trim.

The base T5 Drive-E and T5 AWD feature automatic headlights,
LED DRLs, front and rear fog lights, roof rails, heated mirrors
and automatic wipers. They ride on 18-inch alloy wheels.

The T5 Platinum Trim adds adaptive bi-xenon headlights and a
power lift gate. Moving over to the T6 Drive-E and T6 AWD, you
will find 20-inch alloy wheels while most of other features of
the base models remain.
