2016 Skoda Octavia RS Engine and Specs

Under the hood, 2016 Skoda Octavia RS will have a turbocharged
2.0-liter 4-cylinder TSI engine putting out up to 169 kW (227
hp), with a torque of 350 Nm and a 2.0-liter TDI engine
delivering 184 hp.

There is an electronically controlled locking front
differential which, according to the manufacturer, enhances the
car’s dynamic cornering ability.

The engine will be paired up with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed
dual-clutch ‘DSG’ automatic transmissions which will certainly
be available overseas, although it still isn’t clear if they
will be available locally at this point. The GTI Performance is
available only with the DSG.

in 6.7 seconds and top speed of 248 km/h (155 mph).
